Took me sometime to learn just how to speak my truth
Not something my school taught me in my youth
Took me some time to recognize the wrong from right the highs and lows , So here it goes:

See we all need to share the power to believe in our self worth and in our self efficacy
For lack of these we’ll labor ineffectively, repeat mistakes from history

When you feel it creepin up your spine
Better stop it while you still have time
Before it starts to cloud your mind
And freeze you right up from inside
It’ll be a little longer til you gain control
But keep your eyes upon the goal

I had to learn this truth all on my own you see
Free my mind’s view so fear won’t get the best of me
I blame it for the failures of society (Fear! Ignorance and Greed!)

The moral of the story is for you to see that absent fear we all have the ability to come together all at once in unity and fight for our humanity
